Karen Davie

As President of the National Hospice Foundation and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), Karen Davie brings a wealth of experience to ABCD’s board of directors. NHPCO is the largest end-of-life organization for dying people, and serves 3,100 member hospices. Before joining NHPCO in 1998, Davie served in many roles for the United Way of America, including acting CEO. “Over the past three years, NHPCO has partnered with a number of end-of-life care organizations in an effort to ensure that we share our more than twenty years of hospice and palliative care experience with a broad spectrum of organizations and individuals,” Davie said. ABCD welcomes the opportunity to benefit from that experience.
