Welcome To Maryann Griffin, New Chief Operating Officer
New COO, MaryAnn Griffin, has worked in a variety of health care administration positions, including service as the COO for the Hospice of Northern Virginia and the Vice President for Hospice and Home Health at the Washington Home. She was the Administrator for Cardiology and Student Health at Georgetown University Medical Center and was the Program Director for three ambulatory care programs at Pentagon City Hospital. As a consultant, she has worked with programs for assisted living for Alzheimer’s patients and for people with mental retardation and development disabilities. Before moving to Washington in the early 90s, Ms. Griffin was a hospital social work director at several large academic medical centers throughout the country.
Ms. Griffin views her position at ABCD as “an opportunity to use her twenty years of health care administration experience to make a difference, on a national level, in an area of health care about which I am passionate.”
