An interactive area for a new book by the same name by Ira Byock, M.D., the site offers his excellent reading list on death, dying, and bereavement, with hyperlinks to the world's biggest bookstore, Amazon.com.

Created by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Last Acts campaign is a coalition of organizations working to make issues about death and dying more accessible tothe public, and more readily discussed. The site includes an electronic newsletter and links to many others.

Site of the Open Society's Project on Death in America, which funds many innovative programs as well as individual faculty scholars.
