How the grantee used this instrument:
In rural Alaska, many of the primary care services are provided by trained community
health aides/practitioners. This manual was developed to infuse basic palliative
care training into the comprehensive training community health aides/practitioners
receive. It was distributed to community health aide/practitioner clinics
in the village with orientation provided by nurse.
