How the grantee used this instrument:
Regence is one of the health plans that have a formal provision for palliative care, resulting from the research project, that provides coverage for palliative care services. Children (with health plan approval) can be referred to a hospice agency that will provide them with palliative care case management, care coordination, medical oversight, and psychosocial support in the home, reimbursed by their health plan.
