Each of the 45 sections of the book is focused on a specific problem or task
central to palliative care, and includes key points, a Power Point presentation
and an annotated bibliography. It is designed for the self-learner or to be
used as an interdisciplinary curriculum to teach on rounds or in small group
settings. At the end of each chapter there are teaching guides on end-of-life care for trainees and instructors.
