ENABLE: Educate, Nurture, Advise Before Life Ends, a project developed at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Palliative Care Consult Service at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. ENABLE is an integrated approach to managing life-limiting cancer which alleviates the symptoms of disease and treatment, enhances clinician and patient/family communication, offers support for families, friends and other caregivers, addresses emotional and spiritual needs of the dying and provides conceptual and administrative structure to help achieve end-of-life care consistent with patients' values and preferences.
Charting Your Course: A Whole Person Approach to Living With Cancer is a syllabus created by the Project ENABLE team to help patients navigate their treatment choices.
