Site Leaders usually have the following responsibilities:
Our Program Materials have information about the curriculum and the various components of the program. In order for your medical school to implement the Wit Film Project, the person designated as the Site Leader or their designee can download all program materials for use at your site. Your institution will be responsible for renting or purchasing the film version of Wit (see below).
Overall the biggest investment will be the time needed to plan and implement the program. You can download the program materials for free! As is the case for most courses, participants will incur some minor expenses. For example, if you choose to use evaluation forms you would need to photocopy forms for use by your participants. You will need to obtain a copy of the film one way or another.
Sure! The program materials are copyrighted but may be shared without cost so long as they are fully-attributed to us and are not re-used to create commercial content.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded the Wit Film Project with a 15 month grant to implement the curriculum at every medical school in the U.S. The RWJF has a long history of funding unique projects which improve the health and health care of Americans.
