New York City's St. Vincent's Hospital translated pain scales into 16 different languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Pakistani, Polish, Greek, and Spanish. One Breakthrough Series team, Wisconsin's United Hospital, translated the pain scale into Hmong. All of these translations can be ordered, and some can be downloaded, from the Mayday Pain Resource Center.
