Patients treated at home often feel more secure knowing that medications are readily available to them or to their at-home care team. Hope Hospice developed a Cardiac Comfort Care Kit, which included the full range of medication a cardiac patient might need and which ensured that patients and caregivers could readily handle crises as they occurred. The kits contain approximately $80 worth of medications sealed in single-use, tamper-proof packages.
