CPCS : Quality Improvement Services : What We Do to Improve Quality

We work to realize our vision through a number of different activities, including:

• Coordinating "Collaboratives" that bring together health care organizations that share a commitment to making major, rapid changes that produce breakthrough results. Collaboratives involve health care organizations working together for six to eight months on improving a specific clinical or operational area relating to end of life care;
• Developing "Toolkits" - resources that help health care providers plan, implement, and measure the success of rapid quality improvement strategies;
• Providing technical assistance to organizations working to improve end of life care within the health care delivery system and the public policy arena; and
• Building knowledge and information-sharing networks across provider organizations.
