A key role of the RAND/IHI Initiative to Improve Quality at End of Life Care is to spread the word about quality improvement initiatives in end of life care and closely related areas that are taking place nationwide. We have identified three other excellent Internet sites that are must-sees for those interested in improving the care that they provide to patients with chronic, eventually fatal illness.

• ABCD Exchange is a monthly newsletter featuring innovative practices and ideas in end-of-life care. Exchange is published by Americans for Better Care of the Dying, a non-profit public charity dedicated to social, professional, and policy reform aimed to improve the care system for patients with serious illness, and their families.
• Innovations in End of Life Care is a bimonthly, online journal that features peer-reviewed promising practices in end-of-life care. It is a project of the Last Acts Task Force on Institutional Innovation.
• Growth House, Inc. is an international gateway to resources for life-threatening illness and end of life care. The Growth House search engine provides access to the Internet's most comprehensive collection of reviewed resources for end of life care. Growth House sponsors the Inter-Institutional Collaborating Network on End-of-life Care (IICN) which links major organizations internationally.
